Achim Lengerer with Niina Lehtonen Braun - Scriptings#50: Learning by heart

The starting point for Achim Lengerer's collaborative project Scriptings#50: Learning by heart is the poem "In der Flucht" ("In flight") by the Jewish German-Swedish writer and poet Nelly Sachs. Together with a small group of performers with different German skills, among others from the Per-Albin-Hansson-Siedlung, Achim Lengerer learns the poem by heart in reading samples (Learning "by heart"). These samples are recorded and made accessible in the temporary "Nelly Sachs Library" in EKAZENT Alma-Rosé-Gasse. Fragments of the reading samples can also be found in the multilingual display cases on the Bergtaidingweg, designed by Lengerer and the Finnish artist Niina Lehtonen Braun, as an expression of a collaborative "transformation of the world" through language.
