The eponymous lettering for the firewall developed by Heimo Zobernig (born in 1958) translates the visible into the system of language. The artist has critically devoted himself to twentieth-century art theories since the early 1980s. The Minimalist postulate “You get what you see” finds its literal conversion here. Because of its unambiguous significative relation, the light gray neutral lettering against its pink background rejects all possible attempts at enigmatization.
