Canadian artist Ken Lum designed the outer facade of the Kunsthalle Wien's container on Karlsplatz before its reconstruction and relocation to the MuseumsQuartier. He combined giant photos of people of diverse background with texts on concepts such as homeland, nationality and internationality. In cooperation with museum in progress, the work was also published in the Austrian daily Der Standard and on information monitors of Vienna's city transit, eventually touring other Austrian and European cities.
