The third work in the museum in progress' Large Scale series (curated by Kasper König und Hans-Ulrich Obrist) was on display from December 1995 to March 1995 on the facade of Kunsthalle Wien, measuring 10 by 54 meters. With his River, the artist drew a parallel between the flow of traffic on Karlsplatz and the Wien River below the square where Kunsthalle Wien was located at the time.
