PER ALBIN is a temporary exhibition project in public space, initiated and realized by KÖR Kunst im öffentlichen Raum Vienna in cooperation with wohnpartner and Wiener Wohnen, which will take place from January 26 to December 20, 2019 in the Per-Albin-Hansson-Siedlung Ost in Vienna's 10th district. The reason for the realization of a KÖR project was the nomination of the settlement as a target area of the IBA, the International Building Exhibition Vienna. PER ALBIN comprises a total of five exhibitions, which do not deal with "art in public space" as a one-time setting, but rather as a project that cannot be completed. On display are projects by national and international contemporary artists, which are dedicated to the concept of publicity with reference to the settlement, its demographic, infrastructural and social conditions.
