The concept for redesigning the facades of a housing complex on Rennbahnweg came from architect Reinhard Haslwanter and artist Hans Weigand, and became emblematic of building art of the 1990ies. The large surfaces (120,000 square meters) were "divided into comprehensible areas of human scale" using color fields (R. Haslwanter).
