The action No Man’s Land was originally created with the title Contemporary Art in Government for an event at the Austrian Museum of Applied Arts (MAK) and examined fragmentation of public space.
The artist sprayed messages on the ground inside a small tent that was assembled at different locations around the city. Each message contained the word "occupy" in connection with the corresponding location, for example: Occupy the intersection, occupy the Ring, the store, entryways, the movie, occupy the media, the present … The video documentation created in the process was presented at the MAK.
