On the occasion of the Wiedner Europatage in September 2007 the third round of Art.Project.Encounter with artists participating from Greece, Rumania and Spain was opened. The project was launched by the AgendaGruppe of St. Elisabeth’s quarter, the district representation of Wieden, and the Building Conservation Office. What originally began as a neighbourhood project is seeking out the “dynamics of encounter” with other European countries. The goal of this initiative is an ongoing display on the walls of the Theresianum as a long-term art project. For this expanded action twelve artists present their collages, mosaics, painting, photography and installations on the theme “encounter”.
