The English street artist active under the pseudonym Robert Banksy made his name with stencil graffiti that was critical of politics and society. On occasion of a documentation and exhibition of his work in WUK, he was also active in Vienna: He left life-sized graffiti of policemen in riot gear with yellow smiley faces and with rats close to the ground on the Naschmarkt Deli cafe and on Schleifmühlgasse in the 4th district.
