The video and sound installation Bassline was presented in a connecting tunnel of the Neubaugasse station of the U3 line as part of Vienna City Festival. Miller sent Vienna's residents on a tour through Mariahilf and Neubau neighborhoods. Starting from the tunnel under Mariahilfer Straße, they followed Tim Harries carrying a contrabass through the city (Walking Bass), and filmed their way with a shoulder-strapped camera. At the end of the walk, they handed in lists of what they had seen. The lists of memories made by the city walkers were read as commentary to the video, in which the bassline becomes more and more clear as they approached the end of their walk.
