On September 26, the artists Hybrid Dessous will present their new hybrid swimwear collection at the intersection between everyday wear and swimwear on land and in the water. They have a close relationship with the Swimming Club Donaukanal, which has been revitalizing the Donaukanal as an inner-city swimming venue since 2020 - so it's only natural that the new collection will be presented by eight members of the swimming club. Last but not least, with their synchronized movements in the wet and dry, they bring the Donaukanal into focus as a place of regeneration in the middle of the city.

In their work, Hybrid Dessous deal with the accessibility of bodies of water in cities as well as with social dress and body norms. The current collection was designed together with members of the Swimming Club Donaukanal and adapted to their individual needs, bodies and experiences. Swimming caps, swimming noodles covered in brightly colored fabric and neoprene socks make the swimmers visible not only to boat traffic, but also to passers-by. The performance is based on synchronized swimming movements and is influenced by the swimmers' experience and the behaviour of the water.
