Along with STREET ART PASSAGE VIENNA and the KABINETT comic passage, TONSPUR_passage is one of three themed walkways in MuseumsQuartier. It was installed in 2006 in the archway between the 7th and the 8th courts and designed by the artist Esther Stocker. Curators Georg Weckwerth and Peter Szely, who have organized the TONSPUR series since 2003 in public spaces of the MuseumsQuartiers, present spatial sound installations by international artists on this "permanent platform for audio art."
