MUST SEE - Neue Sehenswürdigkeiten für Rudolfsheim-Fünfhaus

The Institute for Everyday Research looked for them and found them: new sights in the 15th district – locations that are important for the people there. Places where the district presents itself from its most beautiful side. And naturally the very personal insiders’ tips. A new travel route came into being, on which residents and visitors can discover the “overlooked sights” of everyday life. Along this route – inspired by the “Fonomats” to be encountered near official sights – post boxes, watering pots or nesting boxes were turned into audio stations. Here, the listeners learned everything about the new sights, and in eight languages! The ten stations have been meanwhile deconstructed, but a map and the texts (via soundcloud.com) on the sights can be downloaded from the Internet here: alltagsforschung.org/projekte/mustsee.html

The new sights have been selected by the residents of the 15th district. The Institute for Everyday Research collected their personal highlights in the course of field research: the research stations of the institute made a stop in the district, pensioners’ groups were visited and a multi-language appeal was distributed.
