What could be healthier than claiming to be part of a Dada movement at a time when the meaning of things is being turned upside down? Many people realise that they no longer recognise themselves in different currents of thought. So what are we left with but a madness or a disjunction of reality to reinvent a dreamlike world that calms on aesthetics and poetry through the absurd.
May this sweet madness be our therapy and our medicine against nonsense."
The intention of the URBION urban development project by architects Tillner & Willinger was and is to upgrade the Gürtel Mitte zone as a central public space and to create an inviting place that reconnects the districts separated by the busy city motorway. This was achieved by URBION but more than 20 years have passed since the project was completed and the middle zone is in urgent need of refreshment. The paths and green spaces around the project area are to be activated and revitalised by DADA Jukebox - the project idea is thus to be recalled in order to bring about a continuation.
