Bundeskanzler Wolfgang Schüssel und Kulturstaatssekretär Franz Morak eröffnen den Wahlcontainer der SPÖ

During the political upheavals of 2000 Julius Deutschbauer and Gerhard Spring joined forces as cultural activists of a different kind. They composed dialogs on the topic of art and read these on stage. In a series of six performances, the two artists held opening speeches in names of the Austrian Chancellor and the Secretary of Culture. The first reading took place in June 2001 during the 49th Venice Biennial. During the last reading on November 7, 2002 in Café Container next to Burgtheater, they presented Chancellor Wolfgang Schüssel and Secretary of Culture Franz Morak open the SPÖ election booth.
