Bitte liebt Österreich! Erste österreichische Koalitionswoche

As part of Vienna City Festival, director, filmmaker and action artist Christoph Schlingensief set up a container on a fenced-off and camera-monitored area in front of the Vienna State Opera, and let twelve participants, presented by Schlingensief as asylum seekers, live inside it for a week. Blue Freedom Party (FPÖ, populist, conservative) flags were placed on the roof and an "Out with foreigners!" sign was affixed to the side next to a Kronen Zeitung (Austria's most-read newspaper, also populist/conservative) logo to general applause. Next, every day Austrian citizens were asked to cast their vote for the two least popular "residents" per telephone or on the Internet, in a fashion similar to the TV show Big Brother. These foreigners then had to leave the container to be deported to their country of origin.
