This city walk is already fully booked.
The after-work tour on April 2 takes you to works of art in Vienna's public transport network, which are freely accessible with a valid public transport ticket. Created specifically for these transit locations – from large-scale wall works to digital installations – artists can think big here.
Art is an integral part of the design of Vienna's subway stations. The high design standards for transport hubs date back to the city railway designed by Otto Wagner and opened in 1898, and are reflected in the proven design of the first subway lines in the 1970s. This tour along the U1 line showcases a wide range of works from the “treasure trove” of Wiener Linien, which is constantly being expanded with new stations.
