Democracy instead of corporate power!
Against market fundamentalism that is hostile to people and nature, for solidarity and political-economic self-emancipation: A wall newspaper by Goliathwatch on the power of large corporations, complemented by artistic works by Klaus Staeck.
About Goliathwatch:
Environmental destruction, social inequality, the impending breakdown of democratic processes – many of today’s challenges and crises are closely linked to the actions of corporations. As part of the global anti-corporate movement, the participatory NGO Goliathwatch uses targeted actions and campaigning to advocate for an economy in which the common good takes precedence over the profit interests of individuals. Successes such as winning a lawsuit against Facebook/Meta, curbing hate and misinformation in Google’s algorithm, and campaigning for a German supply chain law show that resistance works. The non-profit association was founded in Hamburg in 2017.

About Klaus Staeck:
Klaus Staeck (born 28 February 1938 in Pulsnitz) is the grand master of political photomontage and a tireless provocateur in the service of democracy. His satirical posters expose the double standards of politics and business; his body of work as a whole is a razor-sharp analysis of power relations. The publisher and lawyer fought for the freedom of art in hundreds of court cases and proved that satire not only has the right to do anything, it must. From 2006 to 2015, he was President of the Academy of Arts in Berlin.
